ANNOUNCEMENT

The missing Persons Organization on the occasion of the anniversaries of the coup d' etat and the Turkish Invasion organizes a series of demonstrations in which a many-member group of relatives of Missing Persons from Greece, which will arrive in Cyprus for this reason specifically, will participate.

Within the framework of these demonstrations, protest demonstrations will be carried out and protest resolutions will be submitted to the representative of the Secretary General Mrs Ann Hercous and also to the Embassies of the Permanent Member States of the Security Council and the European Union.

Peaking of the demonstrations will be the mass demonstration about the missing persons which will take place on Wednesday 21 of July at 8.30 p.m. at the Ledra Palace checkpoint.

The protest will address the President of the Republic, The Acting President of the Parliament, the Archbishop and the Presidents of the Missing Persons Organizations from Greece and Cyprus.

ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ

Η Οργάνωση Συγγενών Αγνοουμένων διοργανώνει με την ευκαιρία των μαύρων επετείων σειρά εκδηλώσεων, στις οποίες θα συμμετάσχει και πολυμελής ομάδα συγγενών Ελλαδιτών Αγνοουμένων που θα βρίσκεται για τον σκοπό αυτό στην Κύπρο.

Στα πλαίσια των εκδηλώσεων θα πραγματοποιηθούν εκδηλώσεις διαμαρτυρίας και θα υποβληθούν υπομνήματα στην Ειδική Αντιπρόσωπο του Γενικού Γραμματέα στην Κύπρο κα Άνν Χέρκους και στις Πρεσβείες των Κρατών Μονίμων Μελών του Συμβουλίου Ασφαλείας και της Ευρωπαϊκής ΄Ενωσης.

Αποκορύφωμα των εκδηλώσεων θα είναι η μαζική συγκέντρωση για τους Αγνοουμένους που θα γίνει τη Τετάρτη 21 Ιουλίου 1999 στις 8.30. μ.μ. στο οδόφραγμα του Λήδρα Πάλας.

Την εκδήλωση θα χαιρετίσουν ο Πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας, ο Προεδρεύων της Βουλής, ο Αρχιεπίσκοπος και οι Πρόεδροι της Οργάνωσης Συγγενών Αγνοουμένων Ελλάδας και Κύπρου.
