The Organization of Parents and Relatives of Undeclared Prisoners and Missing Persons is organizing the 17th Charity Marathon for the Missing. Below is the program of the demonstrations that will take place between June 16th and June 24th, 2001.

Distribution of leaflet about the Missing Persons issue at the Larnaca and Paphos airports, by young people of the Youth Centers of Cyprus.

Monday, June 18 2001 09:30
Press Conference at the Holly Archdiocese of Cyprus.
20:00
Demonstration on the Missing Persons issue - Honoring of reverend Father Christoforos at the International Conference Center at Nicosia, main speaker will be the General Attorney of the Republic Mr. Alekos Markides.

Memoranda handing to foreign Embassies by the committee.

Prayer for the discovery of the Missing Persons at the church of Ayios Alexandros at Pyrga.

Marathon by athletes from the Cyprus Youth Centers, the "Pericles Demetriou" sports club and others.
19:30
End of Marathon at the Holly Archdiocese, speakers are the Archbishop of Cyprus Chrisostomos, president of the Charity Marathon for the Missing Persons Institution and the Foreign Minister of the Republic Mr. Ioannis Kasoulides.

Prayer for the discovery of the Missing Persons at all Churches of the island. Reading of Message from the Holly Archdiocese and circulation of leaflets.

Πορεία Μαραθωνίου με συμμετοχή αθλητών των Κέντρων Νεότητας Κύπρου, του Αθλητικού Σωματίου «Περικλής Δημητρίου» και άλλων σωματείων.

Τελετή τερματισμού Μαραθωνίου στην Ιερά Αρχιεπισκοπή με ομιλιτές τον Αρχιεπίσκοπο κ.κ. Χρισόστομο, Πρόεδρο του Ιδρύματος Αγάπης Αγνοουμένων και τον Υπουργό Εξωτερικών κ. Ιωάννη Κασουλίδη.

Κυριακή, 24 Ιουνίου 2001 Ολοήμερη εκδήλωση
Δέηση υπέρ ανεύρεσης των Αγνοουμένων σε όλους τους Ιερούς Ναούς της Κύπρου. Ανάγνωση Αρχιεπισκοπικής εγκυκλίου και διάθεση δελταρίων.
